Canada Education Policy

The Council of Ministers of Education, Canada (CMEC) was formed in 1967, and is the national voice for education in Canada. CMEC is the mechanism through which ministers consult and act on matters of mutual interest, and the instrument through which they consult and cooperate with national education organizations and the federal government. Alberta learning is the canadian provincial education department of the Province of Alberta. The mandate of Alberta Learning is to "provide Albertans with access to quality lifelong learning opportunities".
